thanks so much

Needed to send a very late thank you to my blog friend Kendra.  http://kendrawietstock.blogspot.com/  She's the one that sent me some samples of  sparkly fluff, they sell it at  http://www.ourcraftlounge.net/
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Let me know what you think.

Recipe:  The vase of flowers is something that I stamped off a while back.  I no longer have the stamp, so I can't tell you who it's from.
Chalked the image and used some paper glaze on the vase, but not on the gray part
Pattern paper is some really old Creative Memories
Stamp is from MPS Everyday Occasions
Plain card stock, ribbon & button are all from my scrap pile

Thanks a Melon

Needed a thank you card, so thought I'd try the Just Because Cards for some inspiration.  I ended up just using regular white card stock & envelope, because I didn't like the score marks on the actual cut card from the cart (if that makes any sense).  I think it turned out really cute & it was super simple to make.  Let me know what you think.

Recipe:  Wording, watermelon & background shape all cut from JBC cart
Card stock~DCWV "Brights",  AC Patterned Paper "Tea Party" & some scraps I had laying around for wording & light green part of watermelon
Used Scribbles 3D paint to make the seeds pop out, all used pop dots for the melon along with some white ribbon doodling
