FUN HALLOWEEN TREAT BAGS **SENSE OF HUMOR IS A MUST***

Hi Everyone & Happy Halloween!
I wanted to sneak in a few more treats on this Halloween, but I must warn you, it's all about poop, yes I said it..poop, poop, poop!!! LOL Yes, I'm a bit immature when it comes to stuff like this, but it makes me laugh & that's what's important, right??!!! I found the "Ghost Poop" idea on pinterest, so that's what inspired me, plus I've been wanting to make goodie bag toppers that everyone has been making. I knew I had to make the Ghost Poop for my son, because he loves mini marshmallows, I'll find him next to the pantry just popping them in his mouth. He's become quite good at throwing them in the air & catching them in his mouth..LOL :D
Then I got to thinking about all the candy & junk food that he likes & that's when I came up with the Bat & the Pumpkin. He should get them in the mail today, so I will be interested in how he reacts. He's got a great sense of humor, but he's also 16 & at an all boys school. He could either smile & keep them to himself because he's embarrassed or he could share them with his friends because he thinks they are cool, either way it's all good!!! I did send him lots of other candy to share with his friends at school, he's good about sharing! :D
Ok, so on to the Poopyness!!! LOL
First up is our Ghost Friend, see the look on his face? He's like "Whoopsy"
The Bats are just fleeing the scene!
Then there's Mr. Pumpkin Friend, he just cracking up, he thinks it's so funny!!!
Cheese balls would have been better choice, but Brandon loves Cheese-Itz & Cheese Doodles would have been gross! LOL
Here's the three of them, they all want to blame the other!!!
I'm not going to get into all the ingredients today, since it's Halloween, but if you would like to know what paper or where the cuts came from you can send me an e-mail. :D
Thanks for humoring me & please only comment if you liked them, I don't want to get any hate mail over poop!!! ;)
I hope everyone has a very safe & happy Halloween!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

"IT'S ALL ABOUT CATITUDE" BLOG HOP

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to the “It’s All About Catitude”  Blog Hop in honor of National Cat Day, October 29, 2011, and our furry little felines hosted by Barbara . The theme of the hop is “It’s All About Catitude” and 19 crafty ladies have come together to create some purrfectly adorable projects in honor of National Cat Day and our furry little felines.   If you came here from Yvette's, then you are in the right place.  But if you happened to end up here, then you will want to go back to the beginning at Barbara’s and hop along with us as you don’t want to miss any of the meowy purrfectly frisky projects. The hop will run for two days, October 28, 2011 and October 29, 2011.  So please be sure to check back each day to see what new project each of our talented ladies has in store for you.

We unfortunately don't have any furry felines in our house, due to my allergies, I am terribly allergic to them! :( I'm not just a dog person, I do love the little furry furr-balls, they are adorable as kittens and then when they grow up to cats they are so pretty! It's funny how their favorite toy can be a piece of string or yarn and they will just watch it so intently and then go after it! One thing I've often wondered though, why do they have sandpaper for tongues & why do they love to like your eyes lashes with it??? Strange little cute things, but look what dogs do...LOL!!!
A couple of years ago I went to a Scrapbooking Expo and just had to have these stamps along with some other ones. So when this hop came about, I knew that I would have to used this cute little kitty, yes this is the first time I've used it, but I'm sure there are lots of you who do that too, right??? Anyone??? I wanted to make two completely different cards with the same stamp, mainly to prove to myself that a non-sentiment stamp could be used more than once. I also wanted to prove to myself that every card doesn't have to be all elaborate & that it's okay to make simple little cards like this, think I did a pretty good job!

MY CREATIVE TIME DESIGN TEAM CALL!!! "PUPPY HUGS"

Hi Everyone!
I'm soooo excited about this post today because I'm entering it for a DT position at MCT!!!
Yes, you read that correctly...Emma from MCT is having a DT call!!! When I saw her post the other day I just about peed my pants from the excitement (I know, probably a TMI thing, huh), but it's true!!! I have been such a HUGE fan of Emma's for a very long time now, no offense to all you wonderful bloggers out there, but her blog has to be one of my all time favorites!!! Her designs are always sooo cute and I love her videos, she has been such an inspiration for me!!!

I am in LOVE with her stamps and dies, they are like no other and they are made by the same great manufacturer as PKS!!! In fact it was Emma who turned me on to PKS, those adorable little faces are just priceless. They both have their own drawer in my craft room specifically for them!!! I have never been on a DT before, but I would LOVE for my 1st experience to be on Emma's, she is one of the sweetest and most patient people (except for may Veronica who did my blog, lol)I know out there in Bloggerville!!! Her current DT is AMAZING and I would consider it a HUGE honor to be on her DT with them!!! Seriously people, even if I weren't trying out for her DT, I totally mean every word of this, because it's true!!! I just LOVE Emma, I admit to stalking her, but only in the blogger sort of way of course. :D

I knew exactly what I wanted to make for this project, I wanted to showcase my new blog and my LOVE for Gilby and my "Puppy Hugs" sign off. Those of you who follow my blog know that I recently had a makeover by the very talented Veronica, it turned out better than I had ever hoped!!! I actually got the idea of "Puppy Hugs" from Miss Emma, as her sign off is "Gypsy Hugs". Early on, I asked her if she was okay with me using it and of course she didn't mind at all, she thought it was funny that I was even asking, LOL!
I'm sooo proud of how this turned out, I think it's probably my favorite card I've made!!! I hope Emma and her DT like it, I know that there are going to be tons of Awesome entries which will make it very hard for her to make a decisions and mine most likely won't make the cut, but at least I can say I tried (thanks Glora!)
Sorry about the photos, not sure what happened :(

~Materials Used~
Stamps~MCT "Anyday Bingo and Crossword" (letters for "Hugs" and Paw Print for bakground)
"Build A Banner Kit" (Houndstooth background for star shaped die)
Dies~MCT "Build A Banner Kit" (all dies for banner)
Cuttlebug (for all dies)
Cricut Cart~Paper Doll for Every Day (Gilby, cut @ 3" 3 times w/E-2)
Cricut Imagine (gray cardstock for Gilby-) *See note below*
Cardstock~Colorbok (White for Imagine)~AC Textured (Black & Red)
Twine~PTI
Ribbon~M.S. (sorry don't know the name)
Heart Punch
Foam Tape
*Since Gilby is mostly gray and white and I didn't have any gray cardstock, I looked up the RGB code on the web and found a gray I liked (R185/G185/B184), then used my Imagine to flood fill a white piece of cardstock with the gray, I love that about the Imagine!!!

I'm sorry this post has been so long, but I want everyone to know how I feel about Emma, her blog (MCT) and her stamps and dies!!!
Hope you enjoyed my card and wish me luck!!! :D

As always Gilby and I love comments...his tail just wags away when he sees me smile!!!

An Update on the Gilbster & Some Really Cute Pictures

Hi Everyone!
Thought I would give you an update on Gilby. Am very happy to say that he back to his perky little self, thank god!!! Not sure if everyone knew, but Gilby was a very sickly pup this past weekend, very high fever, shaking, & had very bad "D" leading up to the weekend. After 3 hrs or so & almost $400 later, the vet said he had pancreatitis, she changed his diet, gave him another antibiotic, pain meds & they injected fluids under his skin. The poor little guy wasn't himself & we had no idea that he was in pain, so of course we felt even worse for him! We took his temp through the weekend (he officially has his own thermometer now with his name on it) & it was down some by Sunday night. We had to take him back on Monday & the vet said to keep taking his temp & keep him on the pain meds until Wednesday & she would check him again then. Well, come Wednesday, no fever & our Gilby was back to normal yay!!!!!!!

He was on a special diet before all of this for a skin condition he has, it can get really bad & he is constantly licking the areas until they become infected & then he has to go on an antibiotic. Well since we changed his diet, the spots came back & the licking was really bad, so the vet gave us some new spray & said he had to wear a cone collar!!! :( He doesn't mind it now, think it's more of a mental thing for mommy & daddy, he looks so pathetic in that thing!
Gilby will probably be embarrassed, but I decided to share some pictures that I took of him last night with the cone on. The thing is even though he looks pathetic, he's also too cute!!! Don't feel bad if you laugh, last night when we were laughing we told him that we were laughing with him, not at him, don't think he understood though. ;)

One more thing, Gilby is a Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle mix) & is hypo-allergenic, so people with dog allergies can be around him, but he has a bunch of allergies! What's up with that?!!! Just wondering, that's all.

"Why do I have to wear this stupid thing?!!!"
"I'm NOT happy about this!!!"
"Hey, quite laughing at me!!!"

"An upside down hat, are you kidding me?!!!"

This last one cracks me up!!!

MCT THROWBACK THURSDAY CHALLENGE...

Hi Everyone!

Before we get to my project, I wanted to be sure that you all know that Miss Emma from MCT is having her sneaky peeks this week for her brand new release this Friday!!! You'll want to head over there all this week for the peeks & to see what she & her DT have created, these ladies know how to inspire!!! Oh, and did I forget to mention that there are lots of chances to win some fabulous prizes!!!

For MCT latest Throwback Thursday Challenge the rules are to make a card using the "Card Feature" from an older Cricut Cart, but it has to be a Halloween card.

I decided to use "Wild Card" & my Gypsy
The Window Card is on pg. 43, but I flipped it horizontally & vertically so the
window would be at the bottom-sized at 5.5 x 8.5 (real dial size)
I also used the Frame from the same pg-sized at 5.47x4.45

The Cute Little Ghost is from "Paper Doll Dress Up"
I used the hide/contour feature on my Gypsy so I could use a PKS face of course!
She is cut at 3.7 x 2.04 & cut twice to layer.
It's hard to see, but there is purple bling in between the crystal bling in the
upper right hand corner.

The Cute little "Ghostest with the Mostest is from MCT "All Around Halloween"

~Other Supplies~
PKS "Everyday Character"
AC Grape Glitter Cardstock
AC Cardstock-Black & White
I-Rock & Bling
Crystal Embossing Powder Mixed w/M.S. Sugar Plum Glitter
Purple Ribbon (from stash)
Copic Marker-Blush
Black Gel Pen
Pop Dots

I hope you like my sweet little ghost!!!

As always Gilby & I love your comments...his tail just wags away when he sees me smile!!!

MCT THROWBACK THURSDAY CHALLENGE...BIRTHDAY MARTINI

Hi Everyone!
Hope you all are doing well!!!
I made this card for my Mom's Birthday which is today, Happy Birthday Mom!!! I'm also including it as an entry for Miss Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. The challenge was to create something from one of the "Font" cartridges, but you don't have to use the actual font, it can be an image, as there are lots of "Font" cartridges that have really great images as well. I chose the "Cuttin' Up" cart for my project, because I knew it had exactly what I needed to make my mom's card,The Martini!!!

My mom is a HUGE fan of The Martini, ever since I can remember that's been the only alcohol she drank, except for wine. I used to love it when she would give me the olive & still do!!! Now me, I'm not such a fan of The Martini, in fact I think they are nasty, but give me the olive & I'm a happy camper!!! No need to call social services people, think the time limit has long since past!!!

Ok, so on to my card, I found this ribbon at Michaels probably over a year ago & I knew then that I wanted to make my mom or sister (yeah, she likes those nasty things too) a Martini card, it's perfect!!! I'm really pleased with how it turned out, I hope you all like it as well!!! There is one thing I would change if I were to make it over again & that is the Bling-Bling. I would have put the green on the glass & the diamond on the card, but oh da well. :D
Sorry, not the best photos

The Martini glass can be found on pg. 74 of "Cuttin' Up" I used the Main cut & Shadow feature for the glass & the "Holly Cow" cut for the olive. Everything was cut @ 4"
I used PTI & AC Cardstock I used my I-Rock for the Bling-Bling as well as
"Fired Brick Distress Stickles" for the pimento
All Stamps & Dies are Miss Emma's
~Happy Birthday~"Stitched Oval Die" & sentiment is from "Gift Card Sentiments"
~Celebrate You~ "Scallop & Oval Stitched Die" & the sentiment is from "Many Greetings"
~Little Martini Glass is from "Anyday Bingo & Cross Word"

As always, Gilby & I love your comments...his tail just wags away when he sees me smile!!!

WINNER OF THE TRICK OR TREAT BLOG HOP & SOME NEWS

Hi Everyone!

We'll get right to it, the lucky winner of the Trick or Treat Blog Hop is, per Random.org is...
Judy who said Great pillow boxes -- every one of them! But the mummy is different from anything else that I have seen!! So creative and cute! I am a happy new follower...and I will be quite pleased to grab Gilby's button!

So Congrats Judy, please e-mail me with your address, so I can get your little bag of Halloween goodies you!!!

Now for the news. As I had mentioned in a couple of posts (very excited) I was going to be on Jen's Digi Stamp team. Well, unfortunately there is too much stress in my life right now to be able to commit, so I had to bow out. I'm fairly new to Digi Stamps & it takes me so long to color them to where I think they look decent, so I really thought about it & decided I shouldn't have that added stress right now.The GOOD NEWS is that she is currently seeking NEW DT MEMBERS!!! So, if you are into Digi Stamps (hers are really cute!) & can color well (not taking you 10 tries to get it right) you should pop on over & check her out!!!
Have lots of projects I want to share with everyone, so I'm not going away...LOL

TRICK OR TREAT BLOG HOP~PILLOW TALK...HUH???

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the Trick or Treat Blog Hop!!! I LOVE Halloween, so I'm super excited to be on this hop!!! There are bunch of fantastically creative blogsters on this hop, starting with Angie  @ ATuttleTime...Time to Craft. Halloween is her Favorite time of the year, so of course she wanted to do something fun & something fun is what this hop is all about. You should have just come from Mary's house, MareBearSraps, isn't she awesome?! When you are finished going around the block, you should definitely stop back by her house to check out all her goodies!!! If you are lost (I hope you have a flash light), you should start at the first house on the block which is the Amazing Angie   she has the list of houses on the block who have the best treats!!!

We were asked to create Trick or Treat themed cards, treat holders, bags, or treat boxes....Something fun, cute, and quick and easy to make that incorporate our favorite thing about Halloween....CANDY! Did someone say candy??? Helllooooo, I LOVE candy, I love all different kinds of candy (chocolate mostly), a few of my favorites are Reeses, Twix, Hershey Bar..the list goes on & on. Heck my hubby & I were married at the Hershey Lodge, so we pretty much love anything Hershey. It's bad...I have a crystal Hershey Kiss candy dish (from our Wedding) filled will Kisses most of the time!!! There is one candy bar that I love, but forget about until Halloween & that's the 100 Grand, man oh man is that yummy!!! The had them at work today! It's a good thing I only go in once a week!!!

Ok, so on to the treats I made! I saw something on youtube the other day (sorry can't remember who it was) & she made a mummy pillow box, but with torn paper, it was super cute, but I wanted to put my own spin on it. Was super easy to make.

I used My Gypsy w/the Easter Cricut Cart for all the boxes, I used the hide/contour feature to get rid of the bunny that was in the middle of the box. I think there are a few carts that have the pillow box on them, though I have to say her boxes looked better. I think she used a Stampin Up die or maybe a Sizzix, hers didn't show all the slits like mine did from my Cricut.

Here's what you will need for the Mummy Box
I used a combination of the distress ink to color the box & just wrapped strips of cheese cloth around it. Used the cropodile to make the hole for the Tootsie Pop.
Next is Frankenstein
I used the PDDU Cart for his hair
Here comes a little Spidey
Much cuter in person
The trio

These were sooo much fun to make & you can whip out a bunch in no time if you have everything pre-cut & organized!

Now, since this is a Trick or Treat Blog Hop, of course I just had to have some candy!!! Actually, we have a little bag of Halloween goodies for the winner, but first you have to say "Trick or Treat", no just kidding, but I would like to know what your favorite candy is, oh wait Gilby has something he wanted to say, he would love for you to follow us & to grab our new blog button, but of course it's not a requirement. I have to remind Gilby of that, he thinks that just because he is soo cute that everyone would want to follow along in our crafting adventures! You get to go Trick or Treating through Sunday, so we will have random.org pick a winner by Tuesday night.

Your next stop is the FABULOUS Shar !!!
