I wanted to share a card that I made for my BIL last month, but have never gotten around to posting it.  I'm sorry about the photos, but I haven't been able to figure out a good way to take pictures of acetate, if anyone has any ideas please let me know.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!!!

Card Stock is from my stash

Acetate~Inky Anticks (had to cut 4x)

Twine~Paper Tray Ink

CB Folder~Divine Swirl

Sentiment~My own, isn't it cute?

Font~Grilled Cheese, isn't that even cuter?

Black gel pen

Brown ink

As always, Gilby and I love comments...his tail just wags away when he see's me smile!!!

METAL HEAD 22-BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share the card I made for my oldest son.  He turned 22 last Sunday, boy the years have just gone by sooo sooo fast....too fast!!!  He's really into music, particularly heavy metal and his all time favorite band is Metallica, so I thought he'd get a kick out this.  It turned out just as I imagined, it's nothing fancy, but I was going for a simple look.  Am happy to say that really loved it!!!  Hope you all like it as well.

Black & White Card Stock

Aluminum Metal Sheet by Making Memories
Diamond Plate Cuttle Bug Embossing Folder
'Metallica Old' Font from Dafonts

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

My Dad loves to spend hours in his shop working on his

BEAUTIFUL Entarcia Woodwork.

He sells his Woodwork along with my Mom's BEAUTIFUL Floral Arrangements & Jewelry at local craft shows in Wenatchee, WA.

I thought the patterned tool paper was perfect for him!

Lots of sanding & some inkin for distressed look

Celebrate today stamp is from MPS "Simply Sweet Occasions"
Thought it needed a little something extra, so added swirly paperclip that I inked

THE KING OF MY HEART!

I have lots of fond memories of my childhood & adulthood playing poker with my family. Now that my parents live far away, I miss playing with them. So I thought this was a cute idea & I really like how it turned out.  What do you think?

  I forgot to take a picture of my Dad's Father's Day card before I sent it & I like to take pictures of all my cards, so he was kind enough to make a color copy of it for me.

Recipe:

Cardstock-Black DCWV~Red AC textured & just some plain White

Carts~George for shapes of cards
            IA for card symbols (Spades, Hearts, Clubs & Diamonds
            LL for small ltrs (drawn w/cricut gel pens then colored in)
            PSB for "Happy Father's Day"
Reads on the inside "To The King of My Heart"

Freshman Graduation Card

This card I did for my son Brandon's end of school year at FUMA.

He's done so well there and continue s to thrive, this was his second year.

He loves it there and has fallen in love with FB & LAX.

We are all so PROUD of him!!

(FUMA stands for Fork Union Military Academy)

Card stock & papers, just a mix of what I had

Most images were from SM~football for life~freshman~clipboard~water bottle & weights

Books~ D-PDCT

Stars & FUMA~PSB

Stickers were from various companies ( I couldn't find any track or lacrosse stuff), so I called http://www.myhomescrapbookstore.com/  & she delivered the stickers to me. How great is that!!!

She has an online assortment of tons of stuff that she will ship to you.
