BIRTHDAY FISHES!!!

Hi Everyone!
Hope this short week doesn't feel long to you, I hate weeks like that, thankfully this isn't one of those weeks for me! It's not over yet though is it??? LOL
I'm looking forward to the weekend because hubby & I are going to IKEA to look at more storage options for my craft room. I love IKEA, especially when shopping for things like this. I love my craft room, but it needs to be be less cluttered, I need pretty containers to put other containers & such in. Also need to figure out what to do about my ribbon, it used to be on a couple of those dowels that go in that storage thingy that goes up on the wall (they sell it at Michaels), hopefully you know what I mean, but the ribbon kept getting all over the place. So, now I'm leaning towards making the cards to wrap the ribbon around or getting those old fashion clothes pins & wrapping them & keeping them in jars. I don't know, will just have to see what I can come up with. I need a place for my punches as well. Have all my Stickles (just got from Blitsy) where the ribbon was, but I don't like that either. I also need some more wall art & a bulletin board, but that will have to wait. If anyone has any ideas for my ribbon, punches & stickles please let me know. I like to keep them close to me. I promise to share some photos of my craft room/office when I get it to looking the way I want it to or at least what I can do (since we are renting).

Anywhoodle who, I promised earlier in the week that I would share the card I made for my niece's Birthday, it's actually a gift card holder that I put cash in. Decided cash for her Birthday & something fun for Christmas, so I got her a bunch of Smash products which she loved. It's her freshman year in college, she's an artist & is studying interior design. She loves pinterest, so I knew she would love the Smash stuff.
I needed something quick & easy since I waited until the last minute & this is what I came up with. I think it turned out real cute & she liked it, so that was all that mattered.

  4. You did an awesome job on your card. I have that same die from Emma and I use it for so many different things. I even used it in my Christmas mini. I don't know if this will help or not, but this is something I'm getting ready to do for my ribbon. I'm going to the hardware store and getting some of the stuff they use for gutters. It comes in different sizes and it will hold your ribbon good. It's contained on 3 sides, so the ribbon isn't just hanging loose like mine is on the dowel rod. Plus you can attach it to a wall, so it's off of your desk.
    God Bless

BTW, Case away with my card, that's what the DT are for - INSPIRATION. There would be no issue with entering it into the challenge too, I'm sure no-one would bat an eyelid
