ROUTE 22..A HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi Everyone!
Hope you all had a Happy New Years Day & that all your resolutions are in full throttle! LOL
I'm not one for New Years Resolutions, because I always seem to fail (it's always about losing weight & exercising). There is one that I plan to do though & that is to craft more/post more often, but not let it get in the way of family time & responsibilities. So, I think I'm doing pretty good  so far on this 2nd day of January!

I actually made this card for my nephew a couple of months ago, just never got around to posting it.  How old do you think he turned???...22???...You guessed it right!!! LOL

You can't really tell, because the base is black, but it's a shaped card
I used the weld feature on my gypsy to create the card & the hide/contour to remove the 66. The cart is Nifty Fifties.
I used Black Enamel Accents on the 22 (Something to Celebrate Cart) & the outside
& inside dots. I popped the white part of the card from the black to give it dimension & I used some bakers twine. The card stock is American Crafts.
The inside sentiment is my own (I crack myself up with the things I can come up with) LOL
I printed it on my computer-it took a few tries to get it lined up just right.

We celebrated his belated Birthday along with my niece's on Thanksgiving, everyone, including him got a kick out of his card. With a 22yrd old guy it's kind of hard to make a handmade card that they would like, so I happy that he liked it so much. I'll share the card I made for my niece sometime this week.

As always, Gilby & I love comments...his little tails just wags away when he sees me smile!!!

Thanks for stopping by & Happy Crafting!
