The highly anticipated Bug Magazine has finally come out with their first addition and this little "cutie" is on page 22!!! I couldn't believe it when I got the news, I was sooo excited!!! I've never had any of my projects published before, this might be my claim to fame ...LOL!!!
Have to say, Gilby was NOT with me on this one! In order for me to get the placement of the heart on the little bottom just right, I needed his help. Can you believe that little punk (I call him punky) wouldn't try it on for me?!?!!! I had to get the help of one of my teddy bears (yes, I have several teddy bears)...LOL!!!
Please let me know what you think, I hope you like it as much as I do!!!
Supplies:Carts-Cuttin' Up ("Cutie"), Plantin School Book (Hearts), From my Kitchen (Pie)
Deep Cut Blade
Steam a Seam 2
Fabric Scraps
If you haven't subscribed to The Bug Magazine yet, I would highly recommend it. They have tutorials, there are lots of talented crafters making different projects, I even recognized a couple of my blogger friends!!! They are currently looking for submissions of Birthdays ,Graduation, Weddings, Summer, Fathers & Pets for their May/June issue...you could have your claim to fame too!!! LOL!!!
Gilby and I love comments...his tail just wags away when he sees me smile!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!!
Congratulations! This is really cute!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting published! This onesie is so cute! I remember seeing them cut fabric on the Cricut infomercial before I bought mine, but I haven't been brave enough to try it yet myself!
