Hello Kitty and MTC

Hi Everyone!

First off, I know that there has been a lot of controversy with PC, MTC and SCAL. So, I apologize in advance if my post bothers anyone. I don't know all the specifics, but from what I know, I get why PC sued both MTC and SCAL. I'm for PC all the way, but it doesn't mean I'm going to quit using MTC. Probably like most of MTC users, I bought it for SVG files that I couldn't find on my cartridges. Enough about all that and on to my project.

My sister-in-law turned 40 last week, but my hubby told me I couldn't make a card about turning 40. He said she would NOT like it at all, in fact he was having a hard time with his little sis turning 40! LOL He told me she loved Hello Kitty as a little girl, but I didn't have the HK cart because I had boys, sooo wish that I did though!!!

I'm so proud of myself that I was actually able to acomplish this. The image is a coloring page from the Hello Kitty website. I traced it in MTC and separated all the pieces so I could cut them out on my Cricut, it took me forever to figure it out, but I think it was worth it. It turned out soo cute! I was also going to enter it in the Wacky Wednesday Color Challenge, but I wasn't able to load it in time. Oh da well, I'm still happy with it! Please let me know what you think. :D

  1. super cute, TFS. Don't understand why people have to be so juvenile about their opinions and can't just agree to disagree like the adults we are supposed to be. As my grandmother used to say: "If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all!" I'm like you understand but will continue to use my SCAL and MTC with my other cutting machines. Have a Blessed Sunday

  5. Super cute card! I, too, loved Hello Kitty as a child and my teenage daughter now loves her too. I actually broke down and bought the cartridge for my daughter's 16th birthday. We did toppers for cupcakes.
