MY CRICUT CRAFT ROOM RECIPE/BAKING HOP SERVING SIZE-DOUBLE DUTY!

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's Recipe/Baking Blog Hop. To start from the beginning click here , you can also see the whole line up. If you just arrived from Tracy's blog then you are on the right track.

The reason why I said this recipe serves as double duty is because I am entering it in the PKS "Let's Face it Friday" Holiday Recipe Challenge. I love this recipe & thought it would be perfect for the Blog Hop & PKS' challenge with their cute little faces!

Before I proceed with my post, I have to say that this is NOT my recipe! I got it from Sarah's blog PINK CRICUT a while back. I can't seem to find it on her blog now, so I will put the recipe down below. My family LOVES this bread, especially with chili or taco soup. Saturday's dinner is set...Chili & Beer Bread!!! :D
I love the retro look-think I may make a recipe book with this theme
I used the Cuttin' Up cart to weld the letters together for the title-
Cardstock is "Shimmer" by DCWV
The bottle is from the Block Party cart, you can't really tell from the photo, but I used acetate to make it look more like a bottle & the cute little face is from PKS Retro Doll Assortment
I used From the Kitchen for the bread & another cute little face from the same PKS set
I used PTI craft cardstock & just used some Tim Holtz distress ink for the crust.
The patterned cardstock is DCWV Nana's Kitchen & then just used some rickrack ribbon from my stash.

Beer Bread Recipe (Super Simple)

3 Cups Sifted Flour
3 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 Cup Sugar
12 oz. of Beer your choosing, I've always used a Pale Ale or Honey Wheat
1/4-1/2 Cup Melted Butter

Preheat oven to 375
Mix ingredients together with spoon or your hands (it will be sticky), then put it in a well greased bread pan. Brush or ladle the butter over the bread & bake for 1 hour, transfer to cooling rack & let sit for 15 minutes before taking out of pan.
That's it, like I said..super simple!!!

Next is Sheila & I know she has something sweet for you!

As always, Gilby & I love your comments, his tail just wags away when he sees me smile!
Thanks for stopping by!
